Team Overview

Our Research & Development (R&D) team is the technical talent at the heart of our product suite, overseeing the product development lifecycle from concept to delivery. From engineering to quality assurance to data science, the R&D team ensures our customers seamlessly use our products and can depend on their consistency.

Responsibilities

Description

  • A quality assurance engineer is responsible for designing and executing both manual and automated tests to ensure high-quality software delivery. Collaborating within an agile framework with engineering, product management, and design teams, they identify test strategies, troubleshoot quality issues, and provide detailed defect analysis. This role also involves creating documentation, optimizing departmental processes, and preparing analytical reports. Passion for leveraging AI technologies in testing processes is essential.

 

Your day-to-day job will consist of:

    • Develop and implement test strategies and test plans to effectively identify software defects.
    • Design, create, and execute automation tests using Selenium, including the creation of necessary test data.
    • Communicate and present test artifacts, such as test plans, test cases, and test results.
    • Perform verification of software defect fixes to ensure they resolve the issues identified.
    • Follow problem-solving methodologies to identify, troubleshoot, and properly document software defects.
    • Maintain existing test ware and implement improvements to ensure continued effectiveness.
    • Uphold and enhance existing quality assurance standards and processes, driving improvements where necessary.
    • Produce accurate estimates for the time required to execute assigned projects and tasks.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • BE/BTech in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in software testing (manual and automation).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Java, JavaScript, and/or Python.
  • Strong experience in Selenium automation is required.
  • Effective communicator with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Problem-solving, troubleshooting, and analytical abilities.
  • Understanding of SQL to manipulate and validate test data.
  • Knowledge of XML and HTML.
  • Passionate about leveraging AI technologies to enhance testing processes.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively both individually and as part of a team.
  • Prior Experience to performance and mobile testing wiill be a added advantage
